19th Century Italian Baroque Style Marble Top Drinks Table
About the Item
Extraordinary 19th century baroque carved drink table featuring a variegated round marble top. The top is 1" inch thick with a decorative ogee edge. The pedestal base is painted robin's egg green with parcel gilt highlights. The top has an acanthus leaf border under the marble with a gold leaf finish. The column is centered by a reeded egg shaped form and ends with a disc shaped base. The pedestal has a desirable aged patina on the lacquer and gilt finish. Handsome good looks from an estate in the Napa Valley, CA.
