Antique Genuine Rare Northern Swedish Wall or Side Table

About the Item

Rare genuine antique table from Northern Sweden. The table is an authentic country house furniture from Sweden and functions as a wall or side table. It’s dated with a year and initials on the drawer, 1840 and BGD respectively. The D stands for Dotter meaning the table was painted for a daughter. Made in pine with the original grey-blue paint. The table as a filigree decor along the bottom edge of the drawer in the shape of leaves. The whole table including the decor is done completely by hand as is typical of furniture from this time. Healthy and solid frame. Measurements are based on the table top.
