This is an antique tilt-top table. An English, mahogany occasional table with birdcage mount, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1750.
Beautifully presented mid-Georgian example with fine figuring
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout

Rich caramel hues beam beneath a quality wax polish finish
Birdcage mount offers 360 degrees of rotation, ideal for serving
Tilt top mechanism held securely with a circular brass clasp
Supported by a stout baluster column with turned collars
Stands upon a trio of cabriole legs terminating in pad feet
