Magnificent and ultra rare Art Deco Modernist side table.
Design by Cor Alons and executed by Fa. Winterkamp & Van Putten.
Striking Dutch design from the 1920s.
Solid oak and black lacquered base with original black lacquered refinished top.
In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
A real eye-catcher for your home or office.

The Modernist look of this wonderful Art Deco side table by Cor Alons and executed by Fa. Winterkamp & Van Putten is also known in the Netherlands under the name Haagse School. The Haagse School was inspired by the designs of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The famous Dutch Art Magazine Wendingen published a series of articles on Frank Lloyd Wright in 1925. Well known architects of the Haagse School are Hendrik Wouda, Jan Wils, Frits Spanjaard, Cor Alons and Jan Brunott.
