An Austrian Biedermeier period walnut accent table from the 19th century, with oval top, quarter veneer, banding, single drawer, saber legs and low in-curving stretcher. Created in Austria during the Biedermeier period in the first half of the 19th century, this walnut accent table features an oval top adorned with quarter veneer surrounded by a thin darker toned banding. The apron conceals a single drawer opening thanks to a petite brass pull. Its dovetail construction reveal its age. The table is raised on four slender saber legs resting on a low in-curving stretcher showcasing the same quarter veneered technique seen on the top. With its clean lines and understated décor typical of the Biedermeier era, this Austrian walnut accent table with oval top from the early 19th century will bring an undeniable touch of elegance to any home décor where it will complement any other style from modern to traditional!
