Brown English Oak Side Table with Single Drawer
About the Item
Brown English oak side table with single (trap-door bottom) drawer and front legs which are cabriole-shape silhouettes. Constructed in a vernacular manner, circa 1860-1870 using 18th century elements (probably to sell to a 19th century antique shop). This unique table features an Edwardian brass pull and a gorgeous old finish brought back to new life by an expert hand.
Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.

Note: the widest point of this table is the bow in its cabriole legs (29.75 inches), while the width of its top is 28.5 inches. Shadow (footprint) of Chippendale style pull escutcheon on drawer front. Table constructed circa 1860 with older elements.
