Charles Hollis Jones Lucite and Brass Coffee Side Table, 1970s
About the Item
Charles Hollis Jones designed this lovely Mid-Century modernist Lucite and brass coffee or side table. The round Directoire style pedestal table has clear Lucite and gilded brass resting on three arched feet with an upper part in the form of volutes on which gilded brass rings are hung. The feet end with gilded brass clogs. Surrounding the clear glass tabletop is a circular section made of gilded brass.
The coffee table is in good condition, with minor wear on the metal. Two tiny chips on the edge of the glass tabletop are hardly visible when the glass insert is in position, but they do not significantly affect the overall appearance. Check the close-up.
