Early 20th Century English Oak Barley Twist Draw Leaf Pub Side Table
About the Item
Found in England, this Early 20th Century Side Table was handcrafted by English furniture artisans from old growth oak in the early 1900's. The piece features a square top and two leaves that are paneled. Each leaf is secured in place in the extended or unextended position with a wooden peg on the underside of the table. The top and retractable leaves are suported on a simple apron following down to hand turned barley twist legs that have been joined by simple X form stretchers. The table is raised on four hand turned feet. These types of tables where once used in English Pubs, today with it's unique size, this Early 20th Century English Oak Barley Twist Draw Leaf Pub Side Table can be used as a side table, small dining table or games table.
