English Late 18th Century Oak Side Table with Single Drawer on Thin Column Legs

About the Item

This English oak side table from the late 18th century features a two-plank rectangular top with beveled edge over a single drawer. This drawer is adorned with brass hardware and bail handles. The table is raised on four simple yet elegant Doric style columns, connected to one another through plain side stretchers. The ensemble sits on four short feet. With its elegant lines, the nice patina of the oak and its good proportions, this English side table circa 1790 would look wonderful placed against a wall practically anywhere in any home.
