Italian Early 19th Century Stretchered Table with Lyre Legs

About the Item

An Italian Fratino walnut table from the early 19th century. This Italian walnut side table features lyre shaped legs with hand-forged iron stretcher. Nice patina on this walnut side table which could conveniently decorate your office, entry, living room or even bedroom. The thin metal stretcher adds a delicate touch to this Italian table.

    A Spanish walnut wood stretcher table, with beautifully carved lyre legs, from the 18th century. This antique table from Spain features a rectangular-shaped top which is comprised of a single board, raised upon a pair of scrolling lyre-legs with carved tassels adorning their outer edges and swirling medallion accents at their tops and sides of each volute foot. Elegant forged-iron stretchers fill the space beneath the table with an arch-shaped design, and disc accents. The walnut wood is warm and rich, with lovely patina and age, reflective of it's history.
