Very old Japanese long side table.
The furniture dates from the Meiji period (1860s-1900s).
Made of cedar.
It has been fumigated to a black colour.
The design is very beautiful, composed of fine lines.
It is stable, but there is some shaking due to the structure.
This is a rare piece of Japanese furniture with a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
