Late 19th Century Monk's Convertible Seat and Side Table

About the Item

Late 19th century oak Monk's seat from England. When the top is up, it can be used for comfortable seating. The seat back has hand carved details for added interest. The seat can then be converted easily into a table top by sliding the back of the chair forward to rest on the arms. It is an ingenious piece of furniture that has endless possibilities, especially in a small space. The piece when used as a table measures 26.75 w x 26.5 d x 28.75 h.
