About the Item

We are pleased to present this freshly crafted THE PYRAMID Christmas Edition. The subject of the sell is the exact same side table as presented on the photos and the video above. This year's special edition comes with the showcased in the video, hand-crafted "magnetic cookies baked from concrete" which can be used as a unique decoration for the Christmas season. THE PYRAMID is the minimalistic, multifunctional object that can be rearranged into 3 different sculptural forms. It was originally designed by Tomasz Danielec, Baker Street Boys' co-founder and designer, for the Christmas Exhibition on the request of the Design Museum in London in 2018. Its first idea was to serve as a Christmas Tree that could be used throughout the whole year as a table, making a strong, environmental statement. The table was made of the combination of the European oak and the hand-crafted raw steel. It can be transformed into three different forms: pyramid shaped jewellery stand or christmas tree, wooden-top side table and steel-top side table. THE PYRAMID is the definition of artistry at metalwork. Using years of welding experience, our local locksmith creates the perfect form of the pyramid, later handpolished for unique finish of the steel. The process then moves into the hands of our trusted joiner who 'tailors' the wooden base of the design to the metal pyramid. This project is simply the power of precision where two elements, oak and steel, have to perfectly match with each other in order to create minimalist yet functional furniture art. *The height of the side table form is 57.5 cm.
