About the Item
Truly exceptional examples of Craft Movement furniture, in the manner of Wharton Esherick and George Nakashima, honoring and highlighting the natural movement of each species. These consist of 3+" thick solid heart redwood slab tops encased in solid mahogany, with hand figured and sculpted trestle bases with second shelving area.
The richness and beautiful figuring of the redwood shows off in natural light to great effect.
These are truly iconic craft pieces and heirlooms, bearing bronze plaques on each with the artist's name and location.
