About the Item

Designed by Peter Ghyczy 1979. Manufactured by Ghyczy (Netherlands) The table legs are made of sand casted metal. The glass has a thickness of 15 mm The table T24D has two levels. The lower level is at 12 cm (19 cm at height 52 cm) from the floor. The table is strong and can bear a lot of weight. The table can be shipped flat packed. Sand casting is a traditional process of handcrafting; characteristics are pores and irregularities. GHYCZY is a family heirloom, founded in 1971 by acclaimed architect and designer Peter Ghyczy whose prolific career has pioneered techniques of furniture making that have influenced the design industry for 45 years. His son Felix Ghyczy joined the practice in 2001 and today the father and son duo continue to build on the GHYCZY heritage from their family atelier nestled in the flatlands of Swalmen, the Netherlands.
