Scagliola Round Plinth
About the Item
Round scagliola plinth that combines highly polished surfaces with stone-like cracks and crevices formed during the casting process. Cast by hand and finished with natural oils and waxes.
Pictured colourway - Carmine red, ivory white, midnight blue & raw Sienna.
About Christopher Wall Design
Christopher Wall is a British designer-maker based in Worcestershire, UK. Having studying at Birmingham City University, Christopher then moved to Italy where he completed his MA in Industrial Design.
Having returned to the UK, he spent the following years in London designing furniture for several independent studios including Duffy London, Swoon Editions & the Jamie Oliver brand.
Since 2019, Christopher has been designing and producing bespoke furniture from his home studio. His work now centres around creating small-scale, collectible pieces made from the 17th century plaster technique, Scagliola.
