Minimalist sculptural aluminum side or coffee table with removeable tray.
Colors: table natural anodized aluminum and removable tray in slate gray colour.

In 2008, having started producing and distributing artists´ furniture (including Joseph Beuys, Liam Gillick, Richard Artschwager, Sol Levitt, Donald Judd...) within Schellmann Art,
Jörg Schellmann began to design his own furniture pieces.
As micro-architectural objects, Jörg Schellmann´s furniture reflects the characteristics of minimal and conceptual art, both of which have shaped his artistic development.
At the same time, his repertoire of shapes and forms is guided by the principals of Industrial and commercial objects. Schellmann´s pieces aim at utmost simplicity whilst exposing their construction features.
The goal of Jörg Schellmann´s designs is sculptural beauty that incorporates a reminiscence of archetypes, whilst understanding functionality as a matter of course.
Jörg Schellmann´s design is influenced by the principles of Industrial and commercial objects rather than by interior design.
At the same time it reflects the formal vocabulary of minimal and conceptual art tendencies which have shaped his professional biography as a publisher of international arteditions through his company Editions Schellmann (now Schellmann Art), Munich-New York, since 1969.
