Table Side Occasional Oak Arch 17th century Folk Vernacular
About the Item
The plank top with moulded edge and fine medullary rays creating wave-like pattering in the top. In three sections bearing old butterfly cut out underneath to support the top which has been removed and reglued at some point in the twentieth century. The frieze fitted with a single drawer The brass handles are replaced which is common on pieces like this that have been used a lot. Standing on ball and tapering column legs joined by square stretchers on original toes.
