Walnut Wood Austrian Sewing Side Table, 1850
About the Item
Beautiful and precious Biedermeier side table, due to the very particular design and its excellent "patina".
The side table is an octagonal sewing table; his hat can be raised with a small key, inside there are small compartments, where evidently housed the small sewing tools; this compartment can be raised, giving the possibility to access the underlying part. Its shape is beautiful when closed. The side table has a central leg, which ends with a hexagonal base too.
