Antique English Sofa Side Table Barley Twist Ebonized Library Desk Carved Oak.
Direct from Europe, a beautiful antique English sofa table or writing desk with a gorgeous silhouette and versatile size, easily placed throughout your home to compliment any interior.
The table features include a solid oak top with beveled edges over a wide apron having ebonized panels on all sides and vertical ebonized strips on the corner blocks. (An excellent choice to ‘float’ in the center of a room, as there is no backside).
Thick barley twist column legs definite the look and lead to lower ebonized joint blocks and box stretchers with ebonized panels on all sides.
Oversized bun feet provide support; the front apron opens to reveal a full length drawer with dividers; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa 1800.
Measurements: 29” ht. x 40” x 27.5”.
