The concept behind the stick and stone table is seeking perfection by carefully balancing two contrasting objects. The stick and stone is composed of two tables entirely manufactured in two distinct materials and then juxtaposed to each other, the natural wood of the high table and the natural marble of the low table perfectly interlink to create an object which is both functional and stunningly beautiful. The stick and stone centre table is ideal both for private use and in commercial spaces, for example in living and other lounging rooms, receptions and meeting rooms. Designer Dooq Dooq is a design company dedicated to celebrate the luxury of living. Creating designs that stimulate the senses, whose conceptual approach is inspired on the unexpected meeting of opposite things. Our studio focuses on an extensive research of details together with a vast iconographic research around art and design, creating an ever-evolving language that emphasizes first the small things. Sensual materials like velvet, trimmings, straw and glass are combined with harder materials such as copper, marble, brass and wood to achieve the duality in our studio's distinctive pieces. Using the technological expertise of a country leader in craftsmanship in combination with the creativity of great designers, helps creating pieces with an uncensored aesthetic where each piece has its own reason of existing.
