18th Century Exquisite George II Polished Mahogany Fold-Over Tea Table

About the Item

An exquisite Mid-18th Century George II polished mahogany fold-over tea table with cabriole legs on pad terminals finished with brass drawer handle. As with furniture of this period in history Georgian pieces are generally made of wonderful hardwoods. George II, born in 1683, was king in Great Britain from 1727 until his death in 1760. Mahogany replaced walnut as the fashionable wood of it's day. Fully open depth 70cm
