1980s table by Norman Foster for Tecno Oval top in walnut wood And base in aluminum and chromed iron Excellent conditions Size 110 x 280 x 71 cm. Oval shape: refined and different from the usual - large size 110 x 280 cm - comfortably accommodates 10 people Steel base: bold and technical. The chromed steel allows this table to be inserted even in the most sophisticated environments. #industrialedofluxury Adjustable feet: useful for providing stability Mix of materials: wood and steel. The wood warms and attenuates the technical nature of the base and allows the table to be inserted even in classic or domestic environments. Tecno Company: Tecno is a leader in the creation of interior architecture for work environments and collective spaces and in the design and production of furniture for offices and high-traffic areas. Designer Norman Foster: He is one of the most prolific British architects of his generation. In 1999, he was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, often referred to as the Nobel Prize for Architecture. In 2009, Foster was awarded the Prince of Asturias Prize in the Arts category. In 1994, he received the AIA Gold Medal. The architect is now the president of the Norman Foster Foundation which promotes interdisciplinary thinking and research to help new generations of architects, designers and urban planners anticipate the future. The foundation, opened in June 2017, is based in Madrid and operates globally. With projects and awards all over the world, it is with the revolutionary Nomos table that Norman Foster began his lively collaboration with Tecno, then followed by other important projects such as Stansted Airport in London, the Carr d'Art in Nimes, the British Museum at the London Offices and Foster and Partners in London.
