19th Century Victorian Highly Carved Parlor Table
About the Item
A very fine 19th century Victorian parlor table, profusely hand carved, ornate heavily decorated and finished on all sides, with rich nicely aged oak patina glow. Having a planked top with gadrooned edge on front and back, intricate relief carved frieze with single high quality dovetailed drawer, rising on pierced finial topped H-form stretcher-joined spiral turned barley twist legs, resting on eagle talon brass claw and wooden ball feet.
A stunning and most impressive piece that can be used as a library table, writing desk, games table, server, or dramatic entry statement piece. Wherever it's placed, it's sure to add presence, classic refined elegance and rich sophistication to any space now and passed down through generations.
