Antique Folk Art Grape Vine Table with Hand-Carved Woman & Floral Details
About the Item
This antique pedestal table is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from Italy and date to approximately 1900 and done in the period Art Nouveau style. The table is composed of a grape vine wooden base with a hand-carved woman with outstretched arms and a serpentine shaped table top with carved floral details. The skirt of the table is done with hand-carved softwood vines and flowers. This unique antique table could be used as a pedestal, plant stand, or wine or accent table given it's size.
