Carved Nest of Chinese Tables Depicting Scenes of Noblemen Dragon Boat Flowers
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning nest of highly carved tables depicting Chinese noblemen, boats and floral scenes
I have never quite seen a set like this before, they are head to tow carved, the first table shows and nobleman going about town or scholar, the next table shows traditional trading boats on a river, the next a large dragon with foliage and the last and smallest looks to be a peacock bird again with foliage. The top rails are all carved with similar noblemen detailing and the legs with symmetrical designs
In terms of the condition the tables have normal patina marks here and there, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
