Carved Oak and Tooled Leather Table by Milo Marks

About the Item

A Milo Marks oak and tooled leather table. Chip carved tapering legs and triangular aprons, one with tooled leather overlay in steer head and flower motif, squared top with edges carved in rope design, with peg construction. Signed on the underside; Milo Marks/ Meridian, TX. Milo Marks was the last in the long line uniquely American master craftsman to produce exquisitely rendered pieces of furniture incorporating Longhorn as the integral element of their designs. He retired in 2002.
