Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this original Victorian circa 1860-1880 Burr Walnut, work sewing table with Chessboard top and a beautifully crafted base in distressed condition for restoration

A very good looking and well made table, it can be used as an occasional table or for chess or sewing as intended, the materials used are very decorative and it could be considered art furniture by todays standard. The base is turned and sculpted which rally sets it apart from other pieces
Condition wise the top is warped and there are various timber losses, please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around the condition
