Duval High Top Table
About the Item
Organic form bar table in weathered South Asian iron wood on steel mount. Iron wood has been used for hundreds of years by the Dutch in Indonesia for building marine structures, docks, quays, piers.
The log I used in creating this table was chosen by me for its dramatic texturing and intense tones of umber and ochre. As with all my organic designs I only use fallen or remnant logs, this beautiful piece is in excess of 100 years of age. I paired this base with a contemporary heavily patinated top of zinc.
Measures: 40” x 58” diameter.
This piece is a part of Brendan Bass’s one-of-a-kind collection, Le Monde.
