Early 20th Century French Iron Bistro Table with Black Marble Top, 53-in Long
About the Item
Originally used in a French brasserie at the turn of the twentieth century, this long cast iron bistro table or cafe table features a black marble top with white veining. Scrolled iron legs support the top and are joined by a stretcher capped with a medallion at each end. The iron base is painted white and is marked E. Izaure, Toulouse. With an unusual length of 53 inches, this piece is ideal as a garden table or in a breakfast nook and is sure to bring the charm of French cafe life to any home, circa 1900.
