About the Item

Biedermeier Vienna gorgeous table for parlor (authenticity guaranteed!). Technique / material: The table is made of massive wood (the table's plate and column have nut wood veneer). The abundant sculptured decorations are made of wood consisting of limes (= deriving from lime trees). The gilding as well as the so-said antico verde painting are original. Highest quality handwork, indeed (museum-like quality)! Extreme rareness! Detailed description: This Viennese Biedermeier table - it is of very shapely appearance - is based on three massive feet being antique green and golden shaded (original paintings!) / the mentioned feet have the appearance of lion's paws. Additionally, they are wearing the threepart platter to which the massive round table's column is attached. Three sculptured dolphins (antique green and golden shaded / original paintings!) are visible, too. The column's base is decorated with a sculptured border of acanthus leaves. Please note that the table's plate has a stunning nut veneer having a star's appearance (= pattern of radiated / radiating form type). Vienna, made circa 1815. Original vintage furniture deriving from manufacturing period! Measures: Total height: 79.0 cm / 31.10 inches, diameter of table's plate: 130.0 cm / 51.18 inches.
