About the Item
Extraordinary lyre-legged walnut table inlaid on the top with grotesque scenes. Grotesques are precisely a particular topi di decora that has its roots in Roman painting and was also rediscovered in the Renaissance period.
In the Florence capital style, aesthetic features of the Renaissance were often taken up (as in this case).
Also very beautiful are the lyre-shaped legs.
This table comes from an important palace in Piazza Signoria in Florence, if you wish you can also purchase one or more bookcases from the same hall with the same inlays that are in our availability.
