French Antique Round Wine Tasting Table
About the Item
A French tilt-top wine tasting table from the late 19th century. This antique round-shaped table from France features a tilt top, which is the signature of wine tasting tables during this time, which is supported with a butterfly wedge, between a pair of squared legs which terminate to rest upon rail style feet. The butterfly support swivels, to either support the top or allow it to be conveniently folded down, creating extra space in a room when needed. This piece has a beautifully aged, natural wood finish, with a nicely rustic appearance reflective of its age and prior history of use. This late 19th century French vintner's table would be a perfect addition to a wine cellar, or perhaps an option for a more casual breakfast dining or games table.
