Georgian Burled Walnut Small Table bookstand

About the Item

Petite Burled walnut bookstand. This lovely table has a scalloped oval surface in burled walnut. It is raised on a central carved wood post terminating in cabriole legs with scroll feet. Possibly Irish. This piece can be raised or lowered through an original brass mechanism. Two brass, movable levers to hold a book in place. A unique and exquisite piece in near perfect condition.
