Italian Early 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ebony Table
About the Item
A very attractive Italian early 19th century Louis XVI st. ebony table. The table is raised by tapered legs with topie feet joined on each side by a straight stretcher which joined in the middle and centered by an inverted finial. The frieze has a side drawer and is decorated on each side with scrolling bone inlay accented by square rosette blocks at each corner. The very impressive top is elaborately decorated with bone inlay of scrolls, foliate and geometric shapes, centered by a rosette checkerboard design. All original patina throughout.
