Italian Masterfully Hand-Carved Wooden Console Table with Real Gold Leafing
About the Item
An Italian hand-carved and gold leaf console table, circa 1980's. This vintage table from Italy has been masterfully hand-carved in a fabulous wavy motif about the skirt and legs. A whimsically carved oval cartouche with "rock" formation is prominent at center of apron. The rectangular top, black in color, is the perfect contrast against the lower table which is adorn in real gold leafing. It is presented upon four carved legs, carved in the same wavy motif as the skirt, with carved leaves wrapping the ankles. Please note that there is some minor wear to the top of the table as visible in the additional images. This master-crafted console table from Italy will make a bold, modern presence in your home, and a colorful pop of sophistication with it's vibrant gold and black color.
