Gustav Siegel made by Jacob & Josef Kohn. A Vienna Secessionist bentwood side or centre table. Original paper label to the underside. Jacob & Josef Kohn, also known as J. & J. Kohn, was an Austrian furniture maker and interior designers in Vienna. Jacob Kohn (1791–1866) together with his son Josef Kohn (1814–1884) founded the company in 1849. J. & J. Kohn would later become one of the leading furniture makers in Austria-Hungary. Josef Kohn worked closely with artists of the Wiener Werkstätte including Josef Hoffmann and Gustav Siegel who both designed many pieces for the company.
