About the Item
Neoclassical or as it was described in Sweden, Swedish grace entrance table made by Carl Johansson möblerings affär in Stockholm ca 1920s. The style is closely related to Art Deco furniture. The style of the table is reminiscent of Axel Einar Hjorts early designs but no record of his involvement has been found. Stylized columns holding a round table top with deep green marble surface. The frame is made from ebonized birch. Good vintage condition with age related wear and patina mainly to the frame.
