Taking the shape of a wooden spinning top, TOUPY is a futuristic shelf, born from the visual association between the functionality of a feeding tray and the essential design of the spinning top. Hanging from a metal bar fixed to the ceiling, it frees itself from the constraint of the floor to give it its airy
appearance.
More than a purely functional piece of furniture, its shape carved out of the mass of noble wood turned on the lathe invites us to perceive it as a sculptural
work. Its round shape fluidifies the space and allows you to add a sober and elegant touch to your interior.
Far from being an ordinary object, TOUPY is unique and has been designed to last.
Trained as a stylist at La Cambre, I have worked for 25 years to create trends, colours and fabrics for the world of lingerie. Architecture has always been my passion and as such, object design has become an obvious path for me.
My approach is based on intuition, with a fascination for the material and the intention to offer something beautiful and different. My vision delicately intertwines heritage and technology, aiming to offer creations at the right price, designed to last and be transmitted, while trying to produce as local as possible and to highlight our know-how.
