1840s T.H. Filmer English Walnut Burl Tea Table with Metal Galleries
About the Item
We are pleased to offer this gorgeous Antique English Sheraton tea table, side table, from the 1840s. This table is made of walnut wood, walnut veneer & banded Satinwood, featuring ae rectangular top and one dovetailed large drawer very clean and slides in and out smoothly. Comes with top edge metal galleries and a bottom shelf with beautiful galleries all around and fine marquetry work on top of both top and shelf. This table is not reproduction. It is in good condition despite few signs of past repairs as pictured.
T.H. Filmer, whose label is stuck inside the drawer, established a cabinet making and upholstery firm in Berners Street, near Oxford Street, London, in 1835 and the firm remained in business until at least the late 1860s.
Table measures 20" in width x 13.5" in depth x 27.5" in height. Shelf is 6.5" high with a 15" clearance.
