A Fine 18th Century Mahogany Tripod Table.

About the Item

A wonderful 18th Century Mahogany Tripod Table with a one piece top having the most outstanding colour and patina. Standing on a bold wrythen turned stem and well shaped cabriole legs. When tipped the underside of the top is just what we want to see with a dry clean surface, the original swords, block and brass banjo catch. Also having a very unusual feature of the top unscrewing from the base, something normally seen on mahogany Kettle Stands of this period. Excellent original colour and condition.
