French Pine and Fruitwood Wine Tasting Table

About the Item

French pine and fruitwood wine tasting table, or vendange table, dating to the late 19th century. Circular pine top upon a hinged fruitwood harp-support. Finish is beautifully irregular dark-to-light brown and partially sun-bleached in places. Untouched rich patina. Table folds to flat upright position for storage. Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion. Regional differences in humidity and climate during shipping may cause antique and vintage wood to shrink and/or split along its grain, veneer to loosen and/or peel, and painted finishes and gilt to crack and flake.
