About the Item

Made in the 1930s, this wood chinoiserie tray table consists of a detachable tray top and base, both in a rich black lacquer and parcel gilt decor. A hand-painted gilt landscape adorns the tray surface. We love the scalloped rim of the tray, which is also outlined in gold. Cabriole legs echo the subtle curves of the table top. Elegant and beautifully aged, this table makes for a good accent piece, adding warmth and history to your space. Dimensions: 39.25 in. width 22.25 in. depth 20.25 in. height Condition notes: In good condition, with general wear throughout that's consistent with the table's age and use, including age split at the center of the top's panel.
