Art Deco Psyche Dressing Table and Pouf by Ateliers Gauthier-Poinsignon, c. 1920
About the Item
Superb Gauthier-Poinsignon dressing table in burr walnut and walnut, accompanied by its pouf/footrest.
The dressing table consists of a large pivoting beveled oval mirror (tain OK), 2 tapered columns ending in 2 lights (electricity redone), and 4 drawers with beautiful bronzes.
The pouf is covered with beautiful green trim in very good condition.
Model with roses: we find them sculpted in a garland above the mirror and on the bronze furnishings.
Tapered feet.
Art Deco style, France, circa 1920-1930.
Stamped “Ateliers Gauthier-Poinsignon Nancy”.
In very good condition.
