About the Item
This three dimensional painting contains the illusion of movement, one of the manifestations of kinetic art. To achieve this, Marek like Palladio, leads us to experience magical works of illusion by using false perspective on a three-dimensional surface. By combining ultra-modern techniques with those of traditional methods of old master paintings, he achieves a fictional sense of depth and movement, where the interactive role of the viewer is immersed in a magical world of illusion.
Dr Marek Letkiewicz is a multimedia artist, script writer, film director and author, and until recently a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Marie Curie Sklodowska University, Poland.
