About the Item

Luisa Restrepo, a glass artist and jewelry designer hailing from Colombia, embarked on her creative journey after completing her studies in Medellín and England. In 2005, she established "el taller" in Mexico City, a hub for her artistic endeavors. Several years later, she relocated her studio to Oaxaca, where she delves into the realms of art/action and intervention within public spaces. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Luisa is currently engrossed in pursuing a master's degree in Design Studies in Mexico City, further enriching her understanding of the creative process. Her artistic oeuvre has garnered international recognition, with exhibitions spanning across the globe. Notably, she clinched the top prize at the inaugural Glass Biennial in Colombia, cementing her status as a pioneering figure in the realm of glass artistry and design.
