Talking about this work is like talking about my life. As someone once said, my dream figures mix, rest and in this case they float in an abstract background that at the same time covers them like a glaze like water, which covers us . Reflections on the human being and the low value that things have, when they are given. Only the sieve of economic value makes us value things, going from being to value
Water is a precious asset that we have despised and that one day not too far away will be our greatest treasure.
I painted this work in my studio, I think I remember that in the summer of 2008 or I had just come here for a few days (I was already living in NY then)
It is medium-large in size (200x200 cm) and is painted with acrylic on linen.
Of course it is a unique pizza.
