African Zulu Shields
About the Item
Traditional South African Zulu shields date back to King Shaka Zulu and have been used by tribesman in battle for hundred of years.
These shields are no longer used in battle but instead used for traditional Zulu ceremonies such as weddings in telling historic ancestry stories. These carved wood designs painted in bold black and white patterns. Comes with a hook carved on the back for hanging on wall.
Sold individually, or as a set for $1,000 negotiable.
