Rare and impressive Art Nouveau tableware for serving cake and fruit. We cannot think of a better way to present a cake or a pie than on this stunning Art Nouveau tableware. These artistically designed and beautifully colored and glazed plates are an absolute joy to own and look at. They are works of art and therefor a feast by themselves, so also without a cake they are beautiful to have on display. This antique tableware is in near perfect condition and it can hardly be seen in our pictures, but there is just enough relief to make the lotus flower and leaf patterns extra impressive. Have you also noticed the tiny gaps between the leafs, that is art pottery at its finest. We think the marks underneath (image9) are by Villeroy and Boch, but we are not sure. When antiques are as beautiful and impressive as this Art Nouveau tableware, for us, the maker is of lesser importance.
