Dutch Landscape Made of Ceramic Tiles, Faience from Delft, circa 1960

About

We present you a picture made of ceramic tiles that depicts Dutch landscape. The whole is closed in an oak frame and comes from the 1960s. Furthermore, the landscape is underglaze, in cobalt which is commonly known as “delft blue” – the name derives from the Dutch city of delft . The whole is hand painted. There is a signature of the author in the right bottom corner. Presented item is in very good condition. One of the tiles is glued unevenly and protrudes over the front.
